Highlights

By using the practice of mindfulness, we have the capacity to become the witness to our thoughts instead of the prisoner. Tending to our inner world gifts us the opportunity to navigate our outer world breath by breath, day by day with grace and wisdom, whether on a yoga mat or while walking through the world.

Experience

Sara Clark, an EYT 500-hour certified Vinyasa yoga and mindfulness teacher, has been teaching since 2010 and practicing for more than 17 years. She works with adults of all ages and capabilities in corporate offices, homes, schools, yoga studios, health clubs, and at wellness festivals including Wanderlust. She is known for her transformational programs that focus on unlocking one’s limitless potential while utilizing mindfulness tools that ease suffering and liberate the soul.

Sara is part of an elite group of Global Ambassadors for lululemon and has graced the cover of Yoga Journal and Prevention. She has collaborated with leaders in the wellness field creating online yoga and meditation content for SHAPE, YogaToday, YogaGlo and Hearst Media. She has written articles that have been featured in Mantra Magazine, Vogue Arabia, Yoga Journal, Prevention, and New York Yoga + Life Magazine to name a few.

Sara has also worked for Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, the largest and most established retreat center for yoga, health, and holistic living in North America. This work has included assisting at 200-hour and 300-hour yoga teacher trainings, teaching at the organization’s annual teacher conference, and co-leading the annual vinyasa retreats.

Sara’s teachings merge the physical and spiritual practices of yoga with mindfulness and meditation practices that can be utilized both on and off the yoga mat to enhance well-being in life. In a very applicable way, her mission is to help others awaken to their limitless potential. Known for her compassionate teaching style and fluid vinyasa sequences, Sara makes both the novice and the more experienced practitioner feel welcome in her classes. One of the highlights of her career is teaching a free class each summer to a crowd of 1,000 practitioners in New York City’s iconic Bryant Park.

In becoming a certified yoga teacher, Sara received her 200-hour training at Yoga to the People in NYC, her 300-hour training at Kripalu and her 150-hour Ayurveda holistic health coach certificate through Dr. Naina Marballi, Ayurvedacharya in NYC.
